"Take a breathe and enjoy the view... If I were you"

So ive had alot of time to think this week.... and it has been odd - let me tell you.
I started contemplating why exactly I couldnt find a job this summer. First I was wondering If i hadnt tried hard enough. Should have I put out more effort?

Then I wondered.... was i suppose to be in this position this summer? Is there a specific reason why I have no job and I get to do the things I wanted to do and I have a whole week of calm at home.

It first seemed like a bad thing.... some get these huge mission fields... weither it be moving their lives to different places for a summer, or getting internships at amazing new places, or even just an actual job and the chance to do something big and I get nothing.

So im taking advantage of this time and seeking out what God really wants for me. And what exactly he does have planned for me.

Aknowledging and loving the unkown

Ok so im bad at this blog thing - so sue me. lol

So ive been thinking lately about whats been going on in my life. You know - one of those self examinations. First I had this overwelming sense that my life is awesome. Which is weird i know.... but then I realized something.

There is something so completly comforting about not knowing whats going on

I realized that
1) I have NO clue what and where my life is going.

I can tell you that im going to Kemah on Friday and The Senior Luau the next week and yea im going to college sometime after that..... but all the stuff in between is super hazy.

2) I got this overwelming comfort from knowing that
.... it was amazing. Ive been praying for God to show me whats going on with me and purpose. And Im getting comfort that me not knowing is going to be ok.

I know God has a purpose for me..... the Word says that..... but I think he wants me to learn to rely on him and not myself and my worrys and fears.

But seriously - i never really knew how great of a feeling it is to not know. Its pretty awesome

GOOD weekend. The retreat went well --- definantly a struggle in some parts but such is life. I got the same message that God been trying to tell me for awhile..... its trying to sink in but im not sure if im completley there yet. Our senior thing was good..... it made me sad when everyone moved out of the circle. Im leaving something (in August) that ive been apart of for 18 years (7 in the whyg) and it just gives u a "oh my gracious - this is going to be crazy" sort of feeling in your stomach.

But i am exhausted from the crazyness of this weekend. No sleep (well minus my nap and our few bedtimes) coupled with Spring forward. Makes you kind of want to move to Arizona or some parts of Indiana so you dont have to deal with that junk - lol.

School hasnt been to bad lately - since im in stupid people English (compared to even stupider people English for AP lol) we're now starting Lord of the Flies. That book is CRAZY! But im just excited that ive caught up on the reading and im finally making better grades on the quizes.... thank goodnes

This weekend will be nuts. Im going to the Astros game on Friday with my father (I will talk about that later) and Saturday at 11 we have LTC practice for Share night --- Share night is honestly the craziest day and night ever - its just good to get it all over with though. LTC is fun --- just not the stuff leading up to it - lol. I may sound like a slacker - thats because i am - lol. CANNOT wait to see you at LTC Jody and Alisa --- WOO HOO!!! lol
Ok now onto the real stuff - lol just playing - but....

WOO STINKIN HOO FOR OPENING DAY!!!! lol

Im definantly super duper pumped. I went to Academy before work and I bought a new Astros shirt (they have cute ones), a Astros wristband, and a super cheap National Leauge Champion of 05 bumper sticker. Its amazing! lol. And also the fact that we WON!!! lol JUST BARELY.... but we did win. Roy did fantastic - 8 innings... that mans a machine! Joyce is amazing - she let me watch it during Pepper Talk - im pretty sure everyone at Pepper Talk thinks im crazy - lol. *shrugs*. Im going to the game with my father on Friday and we will be in the Crawford boxes and Wandy is pitching (he better be good! none of this giving away 11 runs like he did when they were playing the Cards when I went that one time ---- but it did ended with Brandon backe coming out so i guess it wasnt that bad). lol.

I hope Jody and Ruth had fun at the game. I was reccolecting (lol dont make fun of me for that) about last year when I went and it was right after the Cards knocked us out of the running for the playoffs and everyone was crazy booing them...... it was AMAZING - lol.

Congrats for the Cards scoring amillion runs on whoever they were playing (i forgot - lol). So sad for the Rangers..... they were facing Curt Schilling.... maybe tomorrow - lol. I am kind of peeved that Roger was at the game sitting next to Mack Brown. First off - he should have been at the stros game and 2nd off he shouldnt have been sitting with ICKY Mack Brown - lol. He likes to toy with us ---- hes all "oh im at the Rangers game". Jerkface.... if he goes there im gunna be super peeved.

SO sorry ive drained on and on ...... I didnt think i would - lol - I LOVE YOU

Dear, The Weather of Houston Texas

Why do you rain so often one me - its not good for my allergies when the weather changes so quickly. Im sure you know this but yet you mess with me anyway. Ive been patient with you for 18 years but somethings gotta give... please stop raining so my allergy problems will go away and i can live my life like a normal human being. Seriously.... if you dont then well..... im gunna go to college and be bugged by weather of another Texas town..... youre probably going to miss me but too bad cause im mad at you.

So Ive decided that I want to do this more often. Like I need one more online journal but who cares.

So this week hasnt been a fun week. It just seemed like one day after another got worse. I lost things, I forgot to do things, I let people down, people let me down, bad things happend that are out of my control. It all ended on Sunday with me having to basically "serve my sentence" (aka cleaning my room till the cows came home) for something I lost of my moms that didnt make her happy. It was a crappy week.

When I was little my family would either go camping or to the beach on occasion. I always found someway to come home with either cuts and scrapes from camping or sunburns from the beach. In my odd 8 year old rationalization for these I would always say - "those were my souviners from the beach or camping". I know .... I was an odd 8 year old.

But now thinking about "bad days" I realize we need those. These tough times are "souvieners" of knowledge or apprectiation from God.

Not only so, but we[c] also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

We gain from God through our sucky times all of that ^^^ and so much more.

So is a bad day, really a bad day? Or is it a blessing in disguise?

So I made a new one cause i was bored

Boredem came over and i made a new blogspot thing. Dang so theres a ton of these journal things out there... its so insane!
